Warehouse High Bay Retrofit Case Study

Eastern Pennsylvania Clinical Research Company

An electrical contractor located in St. Louis, MO upgraded their entire warehouse by replacing outdated fluorescent T8 six-lamp high bays with eco high bays equipped with wireless network controls powered by MeshConnect technology.

Problem

Traditional warehouse lighting retrofits often require extensive labor and material costs to run separate switch legs, emergency lighting circuits, and 0-10V low-voltage dimming wires. Managing these complex hardwired controls limits flexibility and drives up installation time and labor overhead for electrical contractors on the job site.

Solution

To eliminate these installation bottlenecks, the contractor deployed eco high bays integrated with our modular wireless network controls. Through our strategic OEM partnership, the fixtures arrived pre-integrated with MeshConnect technology, allowing all lights to be simply powered hot while all switching, dimming, and zoning are handled wirelessly.

Testimonial

"The wireless lighting controls system is different than any other system I have seen on the market today. The system eliminates the expense of running separate switch legs, emergency lighting circuits and 0-10V dimming completely. All lights are simply powered hot and all switching and dimming are controlled wirelessly through the app, daylight harvesting sensors, motion detectors or wireless switches.

The system does not require a 'Factory Certified' programmer to make changes to the system. Anyone with Admin privileges and a smart phone can easily change the programming on the lights without an instruction manual next to them. Once the lights are linked to the App they create a mesh network throughout the space so there are no nodes or control modules or internet connections required for the system to operate properly. The App allows the customers to move lights in and out of designated groups or scenes to control switching zones, linkage settings between multiple lights, dimming and daylight harvesting eliminating the cost of rewiring fixtures. Any customer that is looking for a system that is versatile, easy to use and saves on construction cost should look into this wireless lighting controls system for their building."
